REVISED GUIDELINES ON ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL EFFECTIVE AY 2021-2022
The Academic Scholarship Program in Senior High School is subject to the following guidelines:
A. Regular Curriculum
A.1. Among the TOP 10 completers of any Public Junior High Schools with at least 200 completers or Private Junior High Schools with at least 100 completers

CONDITIONS
1. A prospective Grade 11 scholar must comply with the following:
1.1. Attend the Scholarship Orientation that will be conducted by the Office of
Admissions and Scholarships (OAS);
1.2. Sign the Scholarship Undertaking;
1.3. File the scholarship application form within the prescribed period;
1.3.1. If the student fails to file a scholarship application form within the
prescribed period, he/she may still avail of the scholarship privilege
in the succeeding semester only upon the submission and approval of
his/her scholarship application form, subject to the policy on the
minimum average grade requirement.
1.4. Grade 11 scholars with one year privilege must meet the following requirements to enjoy the same privilege in the 2nd semester:
1.4.1. A regular academic load in the first semester;
1.4.2. No failing mark in any subject in the first semester;
1.4.3. Average grade of at least 90% with no less than 85% in any subject in the 1st semester; in case the scholar's average grade is below 90% with no grade less than 85% in any subject or with an average grade of at east 90 % with a grade of less than 85% in any subject, his/her scholarship privilege in the 2nd semester shall be downgraded to:
1.4.3.1. 75% tuition discount from Full tuition discount
1.4.3.2. 50% tuition discount from 75% tuition discount
1.4.3.3. 25% tuition discount from 50% tuition discount
1.4.3.4. 10% tuition discount from 25% tuition discount
1.4.3.5. Disqualification from 10% tuition discount
2. Academic Scholarship shall be granted to the Top 10 continuing senior high school students to the following guidelines:
2.1. It shall be granted to only ten students per Grade Level.
2.2. In case of tie at the last spot, considering 5 decimal places of their average grades, additional students may be included
2.3. There will be no substitution. Any disqualification will not be substituted by another qualified student who ranked outside the Top 10.
2.4. The scholarship application form must be filed within the prescribed period.
3. A scholar can only enjoy one CIT-Funded Scholarship/Discount.
4. The university reserves the right to withdraw or amend this policy anytime without prior notice.
