“A Proud Technologian” as what the first line of his resume would read, Engr. Joel G. Abaincia continues to contribute to society through advancing in his profession serving other engineers in his field while carrying the Technologian spirit.
Congratulations Engr. Joel G. Abaincia, RMP, PMCE, L.M. PICE, M.ASEP, ACPE, ASEAN Engr. – Cebu Institute of Technology Alumnus Batch 1986, for being elected recently as the President of the 2020 Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers KSA Riyadh Region Chapter. The induction was held last January 29, 2020 at the Philippine Embassy Riyadh.
Engr. Abaincia is currently the Senior Planning Engineer of the Saudi Consulting Services Co. Engineering Consultants. Conferred with the title “Specialist” in Project Management and Construction Engineering in June 2018, Engr. Abaincia is among the 100 Most Influential Filipino Engineers in the Gulf and was featured in the same title by Ulysses V. Espartero, a renowned Filipino author on Filipino diaspora. The search covers six countries – Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and UAE for the most competitive Filipino engineers working and living in the GCC countries who garnered multiple achievements in their respective engineering fields of expertise.
On December 6, 2019, Engr. Abaincia was also awarded as the PICE Riyadh Outstanding Civil Engineer (PROCE) given during the PICE KSA Riyadh 15th Annual Chapter Convention.
